A week-long Living Lab where anyone interested can step into an open innovation environment and help real businesses tackle real challenges.

Our temporary Pop-Up Living Lab is taking place 20–24 April at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, room BS 5.01.

What to expect?

A dynamic, week-long Living Lab where anyone interested can step into an open innovation environment and help organisations explore ideas, test concepts and gain valuable user insights. Visitors can provide feedback and perspectives that inform real innovation decisions. Everyone is welcome – creatives, entrepreneurs, and the simply curious.

Participating organisations include:

No More Waste Technologies Ltd – developing the SaveGoodFood app to reduce food waste and improve access to affordable food.

Cycle Tracking Product (working title) – a women’s health venture developing a visual cycle-tracking whiteboard and educational ebook, designed to support neurodivergent users.

The Departure Board – a curated platform helping students find reputable overseas work and volunteering opportunities.

Peaches Foods Limited – producing Peaches Hibiscus, an antioxidant-rich drink supporting cardiovascular, metabolic and digestive health.

Cultcha Vultcha – a digital platform helping users discover and book grassroots live music and entertainment.

KB IELTS – supporting students and professionals to achieve IELTS scores required for international professional registration.

Open daily from 15:00-17:00

The Living Lab is open from 15.00–17.00 on a drop-in basis, so you are welcome to attend for as little or as long as suits you.
