I had a financial thing that meant a branch visit was unavoidable today, frankly I was dreading it. However I have to report that this branch was excellent. They had made a really good effort on Covid safety. They also sorted out my financial thing really professionally. Full marks

I came into the branch on the 17.08.2018, very agitated and was dealt with by Rose in banking. She worked very hard to deal with the problem and eventually solved it. I am so happy with Rose that I would recommend anyone going to HSBC St Ann's square, due to her exceptional customer service, which is very rare these days

Came here to sort an issue with my bank out,staff were incredibly helpful, helped me withdraw all the money I needed and even suggested services that would be beneficial for me. Im really happy with them, far better than Barclays or NatWest!

People need to stop being so negative and smile. Smile everyone, smile like the first time you smiled when you tucked into a freshly made baked potato. Mmmmmm baked potaotes. Have any of you ever tried roaster potatoes? Now they are fantastic. When i went to hsbc i had left my debit card in there after printing some bank statements out. Silly me, i asked the woman to help me who was friendly and nice about it. Now i read other comments on here about grumpy miserable staff, but i did not see them.

The Express Banking service is very handy when you can't get to the bank in the week - can pay in cheques, notes and even coins but it is a struggle to find anyone if the machines play up.

5 stars only thanks to few committed and reasonable staff members. Some senior officers don't make any sense of taking care of the branch and customers. Overall, chilled out bank service ;)
