Hannah Roberts, cello

Join us for an evening of lyrical Romanticism in the stunning surroundings of Great Malvern Priory. Tchaikovsky’s ‘Rococo’ Variations is a stunning and virtuosic work which showcases Tchaikovsky’s admiration for Mozart and the wider classical style. We’re thrilled to be joined by Hannah Roberts one of the outstanding cellists of her generation, multiple prize winner and a regular soloist with London Mozart Players, LSO, BBC Concert Orchestra, and the Halle.

Opening with Dvořák’s Czech Suite, full of melodic invention and lively folk rhythms, the concert concludes with Brahms’ cheerful 2nd symphony – a work full of emotional depth and pastoral imagery.
