Top tips for creating a home that minimises the use of energy.....

If you havn't investigated the energy rates you are paying it may be a good time to check this out and consider a change of energy supplier.

Wetcher you are charging the batteries on your mobile or other battery operated gadgets make sure you unplug them as soon as they are fully charged.

Insulation may be a rather tiresome job but well worth the effort to minimise your heating costs and feel the warmth benefit too.

Turn off all appliances when you are not using them will contribute to reduced energy costs.

If you are thinking of buying a new appliance do some research and look for A - rated washing machines, fridges etc.

If you must; use the tumble dryer but they are expensive to run! You could use an outside dryer.

Consider turning down the temperature on your thermostat by just one degree. It will make a difference to the running costs of your boiler.

Consider a modern condensing boiler they are a very efficient  for both water heating and keeping your house warm.
