Disneyland in Florida are looking for one UK town to become their twin, and have launched a nationwide search for the UK’s most magical place to live.
From now until November 22nd 2009, they are asking anyone (aged over 18) to nominate their UK town to be officially twinned with the very place where dreams really do come true.
Help Macclesfield to get noticed! Perhaps you think Macclesfield has the most sparkle, or that it’s just a magical place to live? All you have to do is write 2 lines on why you think Macclesfield should win this title and attach a great image of our town!
Visit www.waltdisneyworldtwinnedtown.co.uk for your chance to tell the Disneyland team of judges – including TV star Angellica Bell - why Macclesfield is the winning one. The winner will receive “Walt Disney World Twinned Town” status and will host a special Disney-themed party in January to celebrate the success.
Plus, the lucky person who submits the winning nomination will jet off to Walt Disney World in Florida with their family (max 4 people) for the official twinning ceremony presided over by the mayor of Main Street, U.S.A., in the fairy tale Magic Kingdom.
