Rock Choir is a phenomenon that is rapidly sweeping the country, with high profile TV, Stage and radio performances boosting its popularity on a daily basis, and is recognised as the world’s largest contemporary choir, with over 132 choirs and 8,000 members.
Since its inception in 2005, it has proven that there are thousands of people out there who like nothing better than gathering en masse and singing their hearts out! Yes, they have enjoyed some level of 'fame' through media appearances, but what lies at the heart of Rock Choir is the sense of community, and the positivity it generates.
Once you open the door to Rock Choir and experience the friendly welcoming atmosphere, you are likely to be completely hooked. With no audition process, just a desire to sing and have fun, and no demand for exceptional musical talent it's easy to see why it is referred to as 'The People's Choir.' However, it is run by a highly skilled musical and administrative team with years of experience and expertise, whichever group you join.
And it's not about traditional hymn singing, far from it. Rock, pop and gospel are the order of the day. Classic feel good anthems like 'Something Inside So Strong' 'Dancing In The Street' 'Somebody to Love' and many more that will just instantly lift your spirits.
