The Macclesfield Ice Rink project will definitely go ahead this December, thanks to four local businesses who have given their support.
Magnus, PR Jones Jewellers, Cheshire Peaks and Plains and Estates and Leisure have all pledged their support to ensure that Macclesfield becomes a centre of Christmas festivity for all the family. The initiative is to increase footfall in Macclesfield town centre in the run up to Christmas and give local businesses a much needed boost.

Macclesfield is a beautiful town with many unique individual shops but residents asked for better entertainment in recent surveys to encourage them to utilise the town. What could be better than an ice rink? Great fun for young and old alike.”
The Ice Rink holds 50 skaters and will be covered by a marquee to allow all weather skating. There will also be Christmas market stalls alongside the rink each day.
The Grand Opening of the Ice Rink will be on Friday 10th December from 17:30pm with a firework display and music from Cheshire Silk FM. Public Skating begins at 6pm.
