Saturday 2nd April 2011 Kick Off 3pm
Macclesfield v Rosslyn Park
Next weekend Macclesfield welcome Rosslyn Park to Priory Park in National League One. Both sides will be looking to return to winning ways after suffering defeat last time out.
The Blues will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 60-10 defeat at London Scottish, and Rosslyn Park went down 51-28 at home to Cambridge. With Macclesfield 4th in the league and the visitors sat 6th there is certainly plenty to play for.
Rosslyn Park have had mixed fortunes so far this season, playing 25 games, winning 11 and losing 14, currently sitting seven points behind Blackheath in 5th. In the reverse fixture earlier in the season it was Macclesfield that emerged victorious 44-25, and the Blues will be looking to complete an impressive double over their opponents.
Macc will still have one eye on catching third placed Cambridge so will be looking to seal maximum points in what should be a fascinating encounter.
Director of Rugby Geoff Wappet has no new injury concerns but may look to make some changes to freshen up the team ahead of the match.
