Are you looking to relax after the hustle and bustle of Christmas or can't wait for another party??

Do you have a young family and can't get a baby sitter for New Year?  Take a look at some of the options I have found for welcoming 2012 in, in whichever way you choose!

Want to party?  For just £29 per person per night you can enjoy music, comedy, shows and dancing at Alvaston Hall, Cheshire.  Or enjoy Victorian folly and spectacular views of the North Wales coastline, with a 2 day New Year's Eve break from just £329 per person for 2 nights.  Alternatively, why not stay at Bodelwyddan Castle for 2 nights, from the 30th Dec, full board – a saving of £100!

For a family or group what about a lodge escape, where you can take the kids?  Situated in various locations throughout the UK, they are perfect for a large family or 2 families, not only to share the cost but to enjoy the stunning rural locations.  You can enjoy the day with the children in a variety of outdoor pursuits, before getting them in bed and seeing the New Year in, either in front of a log fire or even in a hot tub!  From just £70 per person, timber log cabins are available throughout the UK for 3 and 4 night breaks.

Alternatively, what about a cruise? For something different, you could enjoy a taster cruise – cruise down the River Thames and then sail overnight to Amsterdam.  This is on board the child-free Marco Polo ship and includes an inner cabin, full board and evening entertainment from just £119 per person.

So whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a group of friends wanting to party or a family wanting a break with their children and friends, there are many different types of New Year breaks to ensure that the arrival of 2012 is a memorable one for all.
