A Macclesfield antiques dealer and collectables specialist has bagged a relic from the Rovers Return.
Garth Brewood, who runs local antiques and collectables store, Aladdin's Cave on Old Park Lane, managed to get his hands on the original bell that was used to call last orders in the Rover's Return from Coronation Street.
The bell, which was due to be thrown in a skip at an ITV archive warehouse in Glossop, was rescued by Garth who plans to auction it on at some point later in the year.
The item has already drawn interest from former stars of Coronation Street, including Denise Welch, now appearing on Loose Women, who commented:
"If it goes for the right price, I would be very interested in making a bid."
