Few, if any of us, will not be touched by cancer, either personally or through a family member, at some point in our lives.

With the Walk Ten for Marie Curie Cancer Care at Tatton Park, you have the opportunity to support a free service which has helped thousands of those people through some of their most difficult times.

The Marie Curie Nursing Service helps people who are approaching the end of their lives to remain at home if they wish to, offering practical and emotional support and advice for both the patient and their families. One of the most valuable services they are able to offer is simply their time.  Time to listen, to answer questions, time to just be there when people maybe feel isolated by their - or a family member's - illness.

However, dealing with a terminal illness should not, and indeed is not a matter of 24 hour sadness.  Marie Curie Nurses come with a practical yet positive approach, with the outlook that every moment of life that can be enjoyed, will be enjoyed.

All details of this wonderful organisation can be found on the Marie Curie website.
