Children and teenagers across Macclesfield are in luck this Summer as a range of exciting local actitivies are launched.

The Active Play Sessions organised by Cheshire East Council take place at Beech Road Park in Alderley Edge and start at 11am tomorrow, Thursday 29th July.

Offering local children and parents the chance to enjoy the fresh air and a range of unique activities such as zorbing, dodge ball and parachutes, the event aims to raise community spirit as well as offer local kids the chance to get active over the Summer.

Families can also enjoy the Active Families Session at Ash Grove Children's Centre tomorrow from 10am.

Packed full of sports, play and leisure activities that aim to include the whole family in the fun, the sessions begin tomorrow, Thursday 29th July.

Smaller children are not left out either with the Noah's Ark Parent and Toddler Group taking place at Macclesfield Family Church tomorrow from 9:30am.

A friendly local parent and toddlers group, the morning offers the chance for both toddlers and families to socialise with other new parents and enjoy fun activities in a highly safe environment.
