Fed up with the rain?

Where has the sun gone?  Well, we all had a taste of summer back in March of this year, but what has happened to the sun and was that our summer?

If you are a parent like myself, you would have had the most trying of Easter holidays thinking of ways to keep the children entertained – inside!

The YouGov survey has revealed that because of the poor UK weather, 56% of people now intend to get away this year but 34% of us have yet to book!  Is that because we are waiting till last minute so we can budget better, are we waiting for a last minute bargain or are we just waiting to see what the weather will do here in the UK??

Ask yourself – when was the last time we had a great summer?  Even though the UK has everything going on this year with the Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, it's not much fun in the rain.  Plus, with the extended June bank holiday it means taking less days off from your annual leave entitlement.

With the operators desperate now to shift their summer stock there are so many deals to be had for couples and families, with monetary savings and free upgrades and other extras, such as half board for the price of bed and breakfast, 2 weeks for the price of 1.  Here are just a few deals I have had through lately to tempt people to make that booking now and to guarantee that they get away at a great price and that, they get to see that all important sun!
