The 25th Anniversary of International Women's Day launches this Sunday, 7th March, with a celebration at Manchester Town Hall.
Recognised around the world since 1911, International Women's Day was established to recognise the achievements of women and their struggles for equal rights.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the celebrations and throughout the launch event on Sunday there will be exciting activities, interactive arts and crafts, information stalls, discussions and seminars about a variety of issues relating to women the world over.
