This years Lowestoft Airshow looks to be the last, it was announced today. Poor weather is blamed for a dramatic loss of income leading to this shock announcement.
Great news as Lowestoft celebrates becoming one of 12 towns to receive funding from the Mary Portas Pilot Scheme, aimed at revitalising our High Streets and town centres.

Kirkley in Lowestoft was buzzing on Monday night, as more than 30 of thebestof Lowestoft members had a chance to enjoy the surroundings of Cafe Grand, named after the Grand Cinema which used to sit on the site. Delicious sausage rolls and cream scones were a most welcome addition too!

After 120 years of trading in Lowestoft, Morlings, the well-loved and well-respected music shop, is closing down. Government red tape is blamed for bringing on the untimely end to such an iconic Lowestoft business.
