Why not bring your children or grandchilden to the "West Shore Miniature Railway" located behind the West Shore Beach Cafe at the Conwy end of the West Shore Promenade adjacent to the Pay and Display Car Park.

If you used to love the track they had at Ysgol Gogarth and have missed it, then you must come along to their new site on West Shore.

They will be running a mixture of miniature steam and electric locomotives

They are open every Saturday during the season from 12 - 4pm. Rides are FREE for everyone.

If you'd care to make a donation towards the running of the service, then please feel free.

A lot of work has gone into the making of this attraction by members of The North Wales Model Engineering Society (www.nwmes.org.uk)

We spoke to Dennis Postlethwaite the Chairman of the Society who told us was overjoyed to see this dream turn into reality. He told me, "Everyone is welcome, you are never to old".

Seems to me that is as open an invitiation as you are likely to get. So please feel free to visit them and enjoy the work they have done.
