Celebrating Alice Liddell's 160th Birthday

Alice Day, May 4th 2012

Promenade Llandudno; 12:30pm Prompt start

 

The event will be a world record attempt to get into the Guinness Book of Records for 'The number of Jam tarts at an Alice in Wonderland themed Tea Party'.

This record breaking attempt will also include:

A live DJ/Master of ceremonies

Llandudno's Miss Alice

Fancy Dress competitions and prizes

Coastal Hawks will be in attendance

Actors and Street performers

Music by the Llandudno Town Band

Members of the Lews Carroll societies

Cathy Rubin author of 'The Real Alice in Wonderland'

This event is open to anyone of any age wishing to participate.

The organisers would love people to dress in Wonderland themed costumes to make the event exciting and colourful.

They are expecting at least one thousand people, who will all receive a Jam Tart (if participating in the world record attempt).

If you want to attend, you will need to bring:

Your own table and chairs

Clean tablecloth

Packed lunch (no alcohol though)
