Join us for Summer Sounds - a packed programme of music on the bandstand at Strawberry Field. With free music events happening every weekend throughout the summer, Summer Sounds is the perfect family day out. Bring along your picnic blankets and deckchairs, and enjoy music in the garden as John Lennon did as a child.
Live on the bandstand on Sunday 16th June is Rylands String Quartet.
Rylands String Quartet are a Manchester-based string ensemble. Over the years they have performed at hundreds of weddings and events across the North West, covering Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and beyond! They have even appeared live on BBC Radio and played with bands such as Blossoms, New Order, The Charlatans and Daughter.
Doors open from 10am with performances starting at 2pm. Free entry, but donations are welcome and appreciated.
Please note that there is no seating in the garden. Feel free to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets. Food and drink will be available to purchase in the Imagine More café.
