Join us for Summer Sounds - a packed programme of music on the bandstand at Strawberry Field. With free music events happening every weekend throughout the summer, Summer Sounds is the perfect family day out. Bring along your picnic blankets and deckchairs, and enjoy music in the garden as John Lennon did as a child.
Live on the bandstand on Sunday 9th June is Hope Street Harmonies.
Hope Street Harmonies are a Liverpool based, all female A Capella choir who sing a diverse repertoire of material ranging from soul to Gregorian chants. They have been together for nearly 20 years, performing at many different types of events. They often collaborate with local companies such as The Lantern Company and Squash Nutrition on community-based art projects and enjoy arranging and performing new material for these alongside classic covers.
Doors open from 10am with performances starting at 2pm. Free entry, but donations are welcome and appreciated.
Please note that there is no seating in the garden. Feel free to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets. Food and drink will be available to purchase in the Imagine More café.
