Wallace and Gromit Come to Liverpool's Spaceport

Spaceport has been selected as the home of the exclusive Wallace and Gromit in space exhibition. If you haven’t been already then you still have plenty of time to catch this exciting display as it is running until December 2011.  The Easter holidays are fast approaching and with the extra bank holidays many children will be only is in school for six days out of 31 so finding fun things to do can help relieve boredom.

 Wallace and Gromit were created by Nick Park twenty years ago and have proven to be popular with adults and children alike.  The exhibition gives you the chance to see the wonderful characters outside of the big and small screen.  The famous orange rocket is there along with the Moon Base Exploration Station which Wallace uses to collect the junk from space and harvest his cheese.

The display incorporates Wallace and Gromit and the history of space travel perfectly.  Visitors can learn about space adventures while enjoying the displays of film sets and the beloved duo.  The exhibition is open from 10.20am and admissions are accepted up till 4.30pm.  If you want to go in term time then be aware that it is closed on Mondays, excluding bank holidays and the school holidays.

Ticket prices are £8.00 for adults and £4.50 for children aged 3 to 15 years.  Families can by a discounted admission which is £20.00 for 2 adults and 3 children. For more information call 0151 330 1333.
