Fire Stations at Risk

As Liverpool comes under more budgetary pressure, the fire service is being asked to come up with more savings. This will inevitably result in more closures, more layoffs, and lower levels of service. Businesses already under huge pressure from High Rates and High Rents, and already high insurance costs, will now have to manage a higher risk level with a lower response rate from the Fire Service. There will no doubt be platitudes from the politicians about no reduction in service but that is all it will be platitudes! In the meantime, Insurance costs will also rise as insurance companies respond to the higher risk! Where does this end?
