Margaret Kristiansen, Complementary Practitioner, Formby.

As well as an expert, conventional and soothing remedial massage, Margaret Kristiansen offers the following very affordable treatments:

Reflexology

Restoring the body's natural balance to promote healing is the byword of reflexology. Margaret Kristiansen, Formby concentrates on specialised pressure techniques in order to achieve this desirable state in her clients. Patients can expect to experience benefits in the areas of stress and pain reduction and increased and superior circulation. Another strong aspect of Reflexology treatment by Margaret is the sensation of deep and profound relaxation, a must in the busy and stressful lives we often find ourselves leading. Prevention is often better than cure so it is said and it is in this area where Reflexology scores heavily. By the reduction and decreasing of accumulated stress, Reflexology therapy eradicates the challenges to our health that occur - before they reach an acute and damaging state.

Indian Head Massage

What is Indian Head Massage? Well firstly it's important to know that this increasingly popular type of therapy can be carried out with or without the use of oils. It is especially effective for those individuals who require a therapy that reduces and diminishes stress levels. Indian Head Massage aims to ease and relieve your aches and pains and increase mobility to tired, tender and aching neck and shoulder muscles that we all feel sometimes. Additionally Indian Head Massage therapy will benefit the appearance and feel of your hair, offering a softer, shinier and more lustrous look. This type of therapy is very much an individualised service and you can be sure that Margaret will do her best to fulfill your exact requirements of it.

Stone Massage Therapy

This treatment uses heated stones on key areas of the body, offering very deep sensations of soothing comfort and warmth. The heat from the stones relaxes the muscles, allowing for a deep massage. Tired and tense muscles benefit hugely from the intense feeling of relaxation and lengthening created in the use of Stone Massage Therapy.

Often massage is looked upon as a luxury - something to be sought after only very occasionally as a 'reward' or perhaps on a special occasion. Margaret suggests that our bodies all deserve and need a little attention in this way on a more regular basis. This is especially so in the prevention of more serious and chronic health problems occurring. Regular massage is incredibly beneficial. Its benefits in increasing blood flow, in turn boosting the immune system, the releasing of feel-good endorphins, the body's own natural pain-killers are widely accepted. Why not come along to Margaret Kristiansen and indulge yourself - we think you deserve it.

Aromatherapy

This therapy addresses the individual's mind, body and spirit in a holistic way. Margaret uses deliciously fragrant essential oils, uniquely blended to suit and restore your individual natural balance. Many are the widespread qualities provided by Aromatherapy, including increased relaxation and the inducement of better quality sleep patterns. In this way, Aromatherapy will help you face each new day, refreshed and ready to take on life's challenges.
