The festival will be held at Darlington Court in Littlehampton on Friday 7th August from 11am–4pm.

With festival season officially under way, a care home across West Sussex is welcoming their local community for a fun-filled day of food and celebration. A Care UK home will open their doors to families and neighbours for a food festival, inviting guests to tuck in and celebrate the nation’s shared love of great cuisine, community and connection. The events come as part of the ‘A Taste of Home’ initiative, which will see Care UK homes across the country host foodie-themed celebrations and showcase what life in a care home is really like. The festival will be held at Darlington Court in Littlehampton on Friday 7th August from 11am–4pm. Guests can expect to be transported around the world on a tasting tour, as the care homes celebrate the recipes and traditions from residents and team members. They can enjoy delicious barbecues and pop-up restaurants, specially prepared by the residents and kitchen teams. Each festival will showcase sustainable, community-focused initiatives while celebrating the diversity and creativity within the homes, from residents’ favourite recipes to seasonal menus featuring locally sourced ingredients.
