The Vision of the Guide Dog for the Blind Association is not to rest until blind and partially sighted people are able to enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.

Our Purpose is to deliver a world class guide dog service as part of a range of mobility services, and work to break down barriers to ensure blind and partially sighted people can get out and about on their own terms.

The Lincoln Branch & Guide Dogs for the Blind consists of volunteers, local guide dog owners (and their dogs) who actively fundraise at local events and supermarkets.

Each guide dog costs £49,000 to train and maintain during their working life. By helping with fundraising locally, the guide dog owners are actively supporting the Charity’s work in giving them an independent life.

Do you need a Speaker?

The Lincoln Branch can also provide trained speakers who would love to come along and talk at clubs, associations, schools, cubs, scouts, brownies, guides, etc.
