Can you help save the iconic Central Spire of Lichfield Cathedral?
A local community-interest-company right here in Whittington has won a national business award.
Local volunteers from St Giles Hospice are celebrating following their award in the Support Staffordshire Awards.
An amazing £3,295 has been raised for St Giles Hospice by local Lichfield primary school.
The Cathedral has been able to remain open for worship, and has played a major part locally in helping with the Covid Vaccination programme - but in line with other “indoor attractions”. However Lichfield Cathedral will be open to the public once again on Monday 17 May following the Prime Minister’s announcement of a further easing of the lockdown rules.
Collected Stories: Living with Multiple Sclerosis has been developed to provide a learning resource for health professionals across the UK and was released during National MS Awareness Week (19-25th April, 2021).
Having had to pause their fundraising events, St Giles Hospice is hopeful to relaunch their events programme starting with Cycle Spring in May.

St Giles Hospice charity shops have now re-opened in Lichfield.

Lichfield Cathedral to open its doors from Monday 15th June to welcome people who wish to light a candle and pray.
