Are you Entering this year's Baking Competition?
Three Spires Shopping Centre is host to the Lichfield Food Festival's baking competition on Sunday 31 August and three age groups can enter: 4 to 11, 12 to 17 and 18 and over.
Prizes have been generously donated by this years sponsors incuding The Kitchen Shop and Lichfield's Baking Academy - Cakeydora.
There are other prizes also to be won.
Young bakers aged 4 to 11
Simply enter four Cinderella-inspired cupcakes for a chance to win a family ticket to see Cinderella at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre this Christmas as well as some Cakeydora vouchers.
Older bakers, ages 12 to 17 and 18+
Enter the top tier of a wedding cake or six wedding cupcakes for a chance to win vouchers to spend in The Kitchen Shop and Cakeydora.
How to Enter
If you wish to participate, take your entries to Three Spires Shopping Centre between 12noon and 1pm on Sunday 31st August. The cakes will be on display for all to see until 3pm when they will be judged by Julie Crisp, owner of the Lichfield's baking academy – Cakeydora.
Julie will judge the cakes on both taste and appearance, and the winners will be announced at 4pm.
Who will be the winner of each category? May the baking battle commence.
