Lichfield Cathedral is well known for its professional choristers! However, if they are ever away it is the job of visiting choirs to sing the daily services. These choirs normally consist of adults or secondary school choirs but on April 17 at 5.30pm – St Michael’s Church of England Primary School Pelsall will be the first ever primary school choir to sing the whole of Choral Evensong as a visiting choir.
Take part in the World Record attempt right here in Lichfield. Bank Holiday Monday 6th May at 10.30am. Grab the kids, granny & anyone you can find to take part in this 55 stride Fun Run! Raise money for our local charity We Love Lichfield.

Raising money for Saxon Hill School Community Cafe Project
The We Love Lichfield Fund was launched in 2011 and is financed through donations and fund-raising events. Firms and individuals are welcome to donate or fund-raise and all money is invested through a permanent endowment fund by registered charity Staffordshire Community Foundation on behalf of We Love Lichfield in line with charity commission guidelines. The interest and dividends earned on the invested money is then distributed by the fund.

An exhibition entitled ‘Moving Pictures-Ending child labour in Gaza’ will be on display in the south transept of Lichfield Cathedral from 7 -18 January, and 20-25 January, 2013.
