When i first told Andy i would write a testimonial for him i thought it would be a doddle, however its hard to put into words how good Andy actually is. From the moment i got into the car i found myself at ease with Andy. He is one of the most reassuring people i have ever met and his wicked sense of humour (and chocolate supply) made lessons fun and i found it much easier to learn. Andy, thank you for helping me to pass first time and for keeping me sane when i felt like i was failing! Im looking forward to doing my pass plus with you. I will always speak highly of you.

Andy brings his business to life with his very funny sense of humour, He is a very well experienced Driving Instructor and know's exactly what he is doing. There is something about Andy that makes you feel at ease as soon as you enter the car.

I was so worried about learning to drive...it took me 7 months to pluck up the courage to get in contact with a driving instructor. From lesson one with Andy I realised I'd made the right decision- he put me at ease straight away, with his one liners and constant supply of kit kats!
Andy has a great personality and is so patient...I started learning in August and passed on 1st attempt in January. I can honestly say there is no time wasted during a lesson with Andy- which is another reason why he is such a popular driving instructor.

Andy is a great driving instructor, he is great at building up your confidence as a driver. Andy is really good at explaining what you need to do to improve as a driver and you will always learn something new. Andy is also a very friendly guy and his jokes are guaranteed to put you at ease when learning. I will be recommending Andy to all my friends.

Andy has taught me, my older brother and my older sister in helping us all pass first time! He is an easy-going person who makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable as soon as you step foot in the car. Andy's cheesy jokes and calm demeanor make learning to drive a fun and easy task. I would definitely recommend Andy and i know many of my mates have also enjoyed their driving while learning with him!

A family friend of mine had Andy as their driving instructor and he seemed good so I rang him up.Good doesn’t cover it! Right from my first lesson Andy put me at ease and any apprehension I had about driving vanished. He was always smiling and cheerful, his calm approach to driving made me relax and enjoy learning to drive from the go. Unfortunately I failed my first driving test as I let nerves get the better of me despite Andy’s reassuring words. It knocked my confidence and it took me a while to have another lesson again. However as soon as I got back in the car with Andy I began to feel more relaxed and confident than I had before. When I took my second test I think I was less nervous than Andy and he does this for a living!! I would recommend Andy to anyone he is kind, patient and takes an interest in you as a person as well as your driving capabilities! Go with Andy, I can’t thank him enough!!

I remember being so nervous when my mum told me she’d booked me my first driving lesson for my 17th birthday but within five minutes of meeting Andy and getting in the car, I felt instantly at ease and suddenly more excited than nervous - whether this was due to the constant supply of Kit Kats I am unsure! Andy is friendly, funny and excellent at what he does; he has a fun and relaxed approach to learning which really works. I ended up passing my driving test first time and I don’t think this would have been possible without such an understanding, approachable teacher! He gave me constant reassurance and boosted my confidence in my ability to drive throughout all of my lessons. I could not have asked for a better driving instructor and I have thoroughly enjoyed the process!

After attempting to learn to drive once before I was apprehensive about giving it another shot; I was advised to try Andy’s Driving School – one of the best decisions I have ever made. After even my first lesson with Andy I finished feeling confident and relaxed. I found my lessons to be enjoyable with no pressure and began to love driving. Andy is brilliant – he is encouraging, knowledgeable and understands that people learn with different approaches and at their own pace. Learning with Andy has given me real confidence in my driving ability and I feel he equipped me with important driving skills that are needed beyond passing my test. I recently passed my test with no minors and am now enjoying the freedom driving brings. I would highly recommend Andy to anybody as I couldn’t have done it without him!

I have to say that after only 14 lessons I passed my theory and my driving test first time!

Andy was recommended to me by a friend as I had said I was looking for an instructor to teach my daughter to drive once she turned 17. My daughter has enjoyed every lesson that she had with Andy, he is calm, patient, funny and gives away free chocolate not only to his students but to their Mums too! I sat in on one of Maddie's lessons and was impressed with Andy's technique, he had a great rapport with her and his cheesy jokes and radio on in the background put her at ease. I would recommend Andy to anyone as an excellent instructor.

I passed my driving test after having lessons with Andy and I wouldn't have passed first time (without any minors) if it wasn't for him. I couldn’t be more pleased with Andy as my instructor! He was a good laugh, very patient and really knew the main areas I needed to work on to be test ready! He organised a mock test 2 weeks before my test to find out my weak points from another perspective. Even though some of his jokes were terrible, the driving lesson never got boring or tedious. I am sure I shall be seeing a lot more of Andy in the future, however not sat in his car!

Our daughter Georgia passed her test first time last week larger thanks to Andy's professional but relaxed instruction. From the first telephone conversation to her last lesson Andy kept us updated with how her lessons were progressing, putting all our minds at ease throughout the whole process. We would definitely recommend Andy's Driving School to anyone who wants to pass first time, who likes chocolate and a little bit of banter along the way!

Andy is an amazing driving instructor, he got me, my sister and her boyfriend through first time! Andy really knows what he is doing and knows what needs to be done to pass your test, take Andy and more than likely your going to pass first time, the price is decent for the quality of learning you're getting.

Andy was recommended to me by a friend and I’m really glad I decided to have lessons with him. I started learning when I was 17 but failed my test 3 times. I had a break and started again with Andy when I was 24 and passed on my first attempt with him. Andy’s great at explaining and is aware of the typical stumbling blocks that people often fail on. He’s a really friendly guy and makes you feel at ease in the car by staying calm and with his jokes. His car is also an excellent car to learn in as it is easy to manoeuvre with good visibility (ideal for avoiding the wall in the test centre!) and easy to start off in. Thanks very much Andy and hopefully see you soon for motorway driving or Pass Plus.

I loved my lessons with Andy! I started at the end of November and passed first time in May! All to the help of Andy, he made my lessons fun and he put me at ease in every lesson. He would let me do manoeuvres till I got it perfect! And I never felt he made me rush through anything, I would definitely recommend Andy's driving school!

I was very nervous when I first started learning to drive but I was put at ease by Andy's light-hearted nature. Along with his great personality, Andy is a fantastic teacher. He doesn't mess around with unnecessary things, he gets straight to the things that will enable you to not only pass your test, but to be a great driver overall. I passed my test first time with Andy, I couldn't have asked for a better instructor!

Decided to go with Andy for driving lessons after hearing his name around school. One of the best decisions I've ever made. I passed first time! Andy is hilarious with his never ending stream of bad jokes and witty banter. As far as instructing goes, Andy wastes no time in teaching you what you need to know, and always has time to listen to what you want do on lessons. He's easily approachable and is clearly well known (infamous) around Lichfield. Also he occasionally gives you chocolate. Thanks for everything Andy!

Andy is an amazing driving instructor, he got me and my girlfriend through first time ! I really enjoyed every minute I spent learning to drive with andy, he has the patience of a saint and is really calm when most instructors wouldn't be.I also loved the fact that from the second you enter the car you are driving until you finish your lesson ! What can I say other than Andy is a great bloke who also happens to be an outstanding instructor. He made me feel @ ease from the first lesson and let me learn as quickly or as slowly as I wanted. Andrea very much enjoyed her Pass Plus and has told her Dad and me that it has really boosted her confidence on the roads, particularly at roundabouts where she used to feel a little nervous. We are also very grateful that she's experienced driving on motorways safely with a professional instructor.
We're really glad that she completed the course and think that she's a better driver for it.

I am 43 and was very nervous about taking lessons and looked at several driving schools. From the first call to Andy I knew I'd found the right teacher for me. I had taken quite a few lessons about 15 years ago but I just couldn't get it all to make sense. Andy's kindness and lovely teaching style changed all that! He put me totally at ease, was patient and kind throughout. I was delighted to pass my test today. I shall really miss my driving lessons though. Thanks Andy, you've been fantastic! I cannot recommend a driving instructor more highly.

As I approached 17, I was fortunate enough to be recommended Andy as my driving instructor. And I couldn't have asked for a better one. From my first lesson, Andy helped calm my nerves and made me feel really relaxed. Every week, I looked forward to my lessons and every lesson was tailored to suit me. When I started freaking out about roundabouts Andy specifically found a route that took me past pretty much every one ever built in Lichfield, no matter how much I grumbled when I saw them, until they became second nature. He was great in building confidence, but also firm in saying if things had gone wrong and how to correct it, so I rarely made the same mistake twice. He was fun to talk to and I will definitely miss our chats (a little more at least than his well renowned jokes!). He didn't just teach me to 'drive to pass the test' but also how to deal with situations if I went wrong and has given me a skill for life. I passed my test first time after about 5 months of weekly lessons with Andy. He is awesome and I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive. Thanks so much Andy!
