This year’s Festival of the Garden explores our connection with the land, and the line between wilderness and cultivation, landscapes and gardens. Across four summer days of conversations, demonstrations and performances, we consider our imprint on the natural world and the future of growing.
Joining us this year are figurehead of the ‘New Perennial’ movement, plantsman Piet Oudolf, Guardian gardening columnist and ‘thrifty forager’ Alys Fowler, regenerative grower, forager and cook Poppy Okotcha, inventive gardener and ‘plant hunter’ Mat Reese, award-winning author, naturalist and conservationist Dara McAnulty, organic food grower, writer and nature-worshipper, Claire Ratinon, influential gardener Fergus Garrett, Mercury-nominated artist Sam Lee and many more.
