A tribute to Stiliyan Petrov was organised for Aston Villa’s last game of the season at FA Cup winners, Wigan Athletic on Sunday. Mask-arade gave out 3000 Stan Petrov masks to the travelling Villa fans and Wigan officials granted permission for a mask to be placed on every seat in the away section prior to the turnstiles opening at the DW stadium.

Fans were encouraged to don their masks on the 19th minute of the game in tribute to the former Villa player who has sadly had to retire from football. Mask-arade director, Chris O’Nyan said “We are making this gesture to support Cure Leukaemia and to recognise Stan’s popularity.” Masks can also be ordered online from with all profits being donated to Cure Leukaemia.
