I recommend Wolfwood as I feel that Lancaster needed a charity that didn't force itself upon you instead, with the hard work and dedication of the shop workers and all the staff at the kennels, their hard work proves itself to the locals which has made this particular shop stand out to me from the rest of the charities in town.
The staff ALWAYS are happy to have a chat and very welcoming - other charity shops in town could learn a thing or two from the lovely ladies at Wolfwood!
I've been to the fund raising from Wolfwood and they truly are a fantastic day out. Also I bring my dogs along who are welcomed by all the staff.
Wolfwood deserves to be recognised for all its hard work and dedication.

The permanent homing of 8 rescue horses and ponies is a mammoth task on it's own.
Then they look after displaced wildlife and finally dogs that nobody else will take in.
They need everyones support to maintain this service to the Lancaster and Morecambe community.

We were looking for a play mate for the rescue dog we already have. Stephen suggested Archie so we travelled up from Norfolk to meet him. We fell in love with him straight away & so did Nellie. We have had Archie for 4 months now, he has made our family complete & he gets on so well with Nellie, they play together all day, sleep together, eat side by side sometimes even out of the same bowl. Getting Archie was one of the best things we ever did & I can not thank Stephen or Wolfwood enough.
