The Brookfield Rose Trust supports the work of The Outward Bound Trust, Action for Children and The Prince’s Trust; Brookfield Rose’s chosen Charities of the Year for 2015. Each year all companies within the group donate a percentage of their annual profit as well as holding a Gala Dinner fundraiser.

This year the theme for the Gala Dinner, which took place at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel, was ‘Viva Las Vegas’. This theme was supported by the decoration, dress code and entertainment on offer. Guests were even treated to an Elvis Tribute, to help everyone get in the mood for the charity fundraiser and raffle. Guests were also given the opportunity to bid on prizes in our charity auction, which included a six-day African safari, One Direction tickets and signed football shirts.

“The event was a huge success”, commented CEO Matthew Sanders, “and we are thrilled to announce that the night raised a total of £25,382.99 for the three charities supported by the Brookfield Rose Trust. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our colleagues, guests and speakers for their generosity and we look forward to hosting the event again next year”.

To date Matthew Sanders and the Brookfield Rose group has donated, supported and been involved in countless charitable activities; taking part in bike rides, marathons and car races around the world. Over the last few years, he completed a sponsored Olympic Bobsleigh track run in Norway, taken part in the Gumball Rally 3000 three times and cycled from Manchester to Paris, and Calais to Amsterdam.

“These events are great fun,” continues Matthew, “but more importantly, the money raised will make a real difference to children and young people.”
