We try to form a close relationship with all the parents in order to keep open lines of communication and stay on top of your child's individual needs and personality. We will give you daily feedback via your child's key carer and we also schedule parent evenings and open days, where you can meet other parents and share your thoughts and experiences.

ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL

It goes without saying that a 3-month-old will not have the same needs as a 5-year-old, so we provide three very different childcare areas, defined by age and/or ability:

• BABY LEARNERS

      A self-contained area allowing your baby to continue to follow routines established at home. A peaceful sleeping area is provided along with an activity area. 

• LITTLE LEARNERS

      This area takes children from approximately 18 months and has been designed to support their rapidly developing skills. There are story and arts and crafts areas and a broad choice of toys and resources to keep your child happy and busy throughout the day.The room is divided into 2 sections, catering for children from 18 months to 2 years in room 1 and 2 to 3 years in room 2.

• RISING FIVES

This area is for older children up to the age of five. Here they can enjoy a variety of activities including art, music, gym, dance and drama as well as messy play, construction and creative sessions. At this stage, children receive a gentle introduction to a wide range of subjects such as reading, writing, maths, science, IT, the world around them and Spanish.

Knutsford Day Nursery's programme is designed to deliver the foundation stage of the National Curriculum for children aged 3 to 5. Although learning is structured, the emphasis is always on having fun and learning through play.

Knutsford Day Nursery provides a balanced, appetising and nourishing diet through fresh ingredients and a mixture of organic and non-organic food. Children with special dietary needs can also be catered for.

      WE ARE OPEN FROM 8am TO 6pm but can make special arrangements if you need to drop off or pick up your child at different times.
