A care home in Kingston Vale is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for people considering their loved one’s future care.

On Thursday 22nd February from 2pm-4pm, the Care UK team at Sherwood Grange will open the doors to the care home on Robin Hood Lane for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Sally-Ann Joseph, partner at Rose and Rose Solicitors, and independent specialist, Liz Wade, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for their loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home.

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Sherwood Grange and take a tour of the home.

Rick Mayne, home manager at Sherwood Grange, said:  “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We are delighted to welcome Sally-Ann and Liz to the event, who are experts in their field and can provide guidance for those currently exploring care options. For those looking for more help and advice when caring for a loved one, our latest guide, A helping hand, is available at the home and can offer further support and guidance.”

Sherwood Grange has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. The home provides full time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short term respite and palliative care.
