The launch of the Kidderminster Arts Festival 2011 takes place this Friday 12th August.
The annual two week festival will then start from Saturday 13th August to the 27th August and will be packed with a wide variety of arts workshops, performances, exhibitions, street entertainment and arts demonstrations.
If you in Kidderminster Town Centre on Saturday there will be a wide range of diverse entertainment for you to enjoy....
The mighty town criers from all over the county will be in town in all their finery and regalia in their attempt to do battle with our own resident Kidderminster Town Crier!
Then you will not be able to miss Bruce Airhead... one man and his balloon - with his original, high energy family entertainment. He has performed on three continents and at Glastonbury and is now on his way to Kidderminster!
A land locked performance by the 'Ladies of the Waves' - the worlds only dry-land synchronised swimming team... watch out for the shark ladies!!!
Watching all the crowd will be the three 'human' show judges who have been sent from outer space to judge the crowd and make some special awards.
This is just on Saturday - make sure you are in Kidderminster Town Centre next weekend to have some laughs and join in the fun!
