The Annual Jersey Drag Hunt Ball was held at La Mare in March this year. What a fabulous event, excellent food, the most attentive service and the most picturesque setting we could have hoped for.

Amazing place, Freya (I think it was) was a great guide and very informative regarding the history of the vineyards and the distillery

An excellent tour with a very informative guide (Carol) - met with Jordi who is the winemaker - tasting session was very nice and left you wanting more - recommended if you are in Jersey - easily accessible by bus which stops just outside

We spent seven hours at Jersey Zoo - it was a fantastic day out. There are so many fantastic animals to see, from the newly arrived otters to chimpanzees, orangutans, gorillas, reptiles, meerkats, flamingos and more. Mine and my daughter's favourite part was the wonderful Butterfly Kaleidoscope where there were so many different species flying around and - if you were lucky - landing on you. It was also extremely interesting to read about conservation expert Gerald Durrell who started the Zoo and changed the way Zoos operated. His life story is told in a designated room with boards to read and a multitude of photographs. The charity shop on the site to raise funds for the Durrell Trust is also amazing and returned on another day to visit that, spending an hour browsing its massive selection of preloved goods.
