This is a first rate zoo particularly if you catch the talks that are given throughout the day. The enclosures and grounds are well maintained and you can spend several hours just walking around. We nearly missed the Kirindy Forest but this was worth walking through particularly the part with birds! The new cafe at the entrance/exit is good for us much better than the Dodo cafe that is within the zoo.
