We visited for the Classic Tour and Tasting. Booked the last tour of the day (15:30) which resulted in it just being the 4 of us and the guide Neil and we therfore we had his undivided attention throughout. The estate is in a beautiful location, the wines are very nice and Neil was very knowledgeable and friendly. An excellent way to spend the late afternoon ... although if the weather is nice it may be wise to do an earlier tour and then stay on to enjoy their wines at the tables in the garden.

Fabulous day at the vineyard. Tour guide Neil was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and very approachable. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. The shop sold high quality Jersey made goods.All staff were friendly and helpful.

La mare was the perfect wedding venue, the grounds are so beautiful there really is no need to even decorate if you chose not to.
The food was superb and attention to detail between the staff and other suppliers was second to none. I wish we could do it all over again and can’t wait to come back to visit. Highly recommend.

My husband and I held both of our daughters’ First Communion celebrations here, and we absolutely loved it. We hosted the first event in 2024, and it was such a wonderful experience that we decided to return again in 2025.
Karen and her team were incredibly accommodating — they took care of every request, and the venue looked beautiful on both occasions. The space itself is stunning, both indoors and outdoors, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a specific menu request, and Karen and her staff handled it perfectly.
All of our guests left happy (with a drink or two and full bellies!), and we left with wonderful memories that we’ll cherish forever.
