We visited today on the opening day of the season for the tour. Helen was our guide and she was informative and knowledgeable. Followed by some tasting of the great wines and cider. Easy to get to on the number 7 bus from St Helier.

Fantastic range of pictures, even one of the millennium falcon landing at Jersey Airport. The lady was extremely helpful and is sending one picture in the post as we couldn't take it on our flight.

This is an amazing zoo, for one reason only πŸ‘. You get a sense that the animals are very well looked afterπŸ™. Their individual habitats really are tailor made for them, and the habitats are all so lush. The whole zoo is very lush and enjoyable to walk through. Some comments here suggest you can't see some of the animals very often, and I agree. However, we have to remind ourselves it's all about keeping them in a natural habitat as possible, and that sometimes means, the animals keep themselves out of sight of predators, us human beings 😰. Overall a great lovely zoo where the No1 priority is the welfare of the animals πŸ‘πŸ‘. The staff are all excellent especially the volunteers wandering around answering visitors questions πŸ‘πŸ‘. Plenty of toilets on the routes and very clean. Highly Recommend with 5stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We bought tickets online and got two buses from St Brelade's Bay.
When we arrived we were told that a couple of areas were going through maintenance so we may not see these animals.
We saw some fab animals though, including birds, gorillas, snakes, toads, flamingos etc. and a lovely volunteer that we got chatting to pointed out a couple of marmosets that we would have missed otherwise.
Overall, a great spot to visit.

A fantastic place. We had the best time! The Orangutans were amazing and came right up to us inside. I was a little bit gutted as the reptile house was closed the day I went but this gives me a good excuse to return.
