Go to another zoo but what they do have
Are very interesting gorillas orangs snakes plus many other species and one red squirrel in a wonderful wild setting plus 2 cafes

Not really a zoo. Don't expect to see elephants. Giraffes. Or the like. Most animals sleeping or hiding. It's okay. But nothing special.

Jersey Zoo is always a great place to visit. It's home to so many beautiful & fascinating animals, including birds & reptiles, & it is all set in stunning countryside in the parish of Trinity. It is an oasis of calm & a very restful place to spend time. Both Café Dodo & the Firefly Café offer delicious meals. Café Dodo is the best place to go with younger children, as it has a play area for them. The Firefly Café is best if you'd rather avoid being around children's parties! You can never visit Jersey Zoo too often. 💖

Amazing animal park - captive residents look to be treated with respect. Carers talk with knowledge, compassion and scientific knowledge and so v interesting - and all such lovely young people. Wonderful spaces thought out well to give some compensatory enrichment.
If I may make 1 suggestion - it would be nice for the ? Andean? bear and the large wrinkle? hornbill - such a large bird - to have more space to fly than just 5 wing flaps to traverse his cage. I had an overwhelming erge to open the door and let him fly free.
You all do a wonderful job and it was such a pleasurable day. Thank you!
