Good for kids, gorilla enclosure is the best I've seen. Worth going to the keeper talks when they are on

Love the Meerkats, Gorillas, Orangutans, Pink Flamingoes in the Durrell Wildlife Park. One of the must places to visit in Jersey.

Great to see close up of animals in a conservation project that works.

This is an excellent wildlife park that emphasises the survival challenges for their many endangered species and clearly the organisation does a lot around the world.

We had a long and fascinating chat with a student who's studying the aye-aye. We feel that Durrell could do more to explain that it takes 10 minutes for human eyes to adjust to the low lighting. We saw no signage outside the various aye-aye enclosures to encourage visitors that it's worth persevering.

Fabulous place!

Thoughtfully designed and informative day out for anyone with an interest in wildlife conservation. The grounds are pleasant to stroll in, and the cafe serves good food and remarkably large scones. It can become an expensive trip if you're in a group, but you can easily spend the full day here, making the most of the keepers talks. Lovely flock of flamingos. One quibble...if there's a commitment to environment and reducing use of plastic, please don't stock the gift shop with cheap plastic toys that get children into the habit of buying (often plastic) things they don't need, which soon end up in the bin.
