BBC is looking for small Islington businesses

I thought this might be something that would interest all those business entrepreneurs out there in Islington. I got a call today from a production company that is working on a new documentary for BBC. They asked if I could help introduce them to some local independent businesses in the Islington area.  Those of you who’ve read some of my previous blogs will know I’m all for independents particularly Islington independents.

So here's the deal, they are looking to get in touch with small independent businesses with more than 10 staff who would benefit from some help with their marketing. It is for a new series on BBC and this is pretty much all I’m allowed to say in an open blog. However I will say that the idea as it was explained to me sounds really good and could be a big help to any SME that gets involved and not just from the obvious massive exposure you’ll get but from some genuine help with marketing your business.

So here are the key criteria  for those who wish to have a chat with the company.

Do you own your own business?

Do you need to attract more customers?

Would you benefit from some marketing advice?

Do you have between 10 and 100 employees?

If the answer to these questions is yes then I’d really recommend getting in touch. Once you get in touch the format will then be explained to the business owner.

Here is a link to the program on the BBC website and here’s a number you can call 020 7424 7607 and speak to Rachel or e-mail business@outlineproductions.co.uk

That's all from me for this week folks. Have a good weekend
