Care UK’s Rendlesham, on Suffolk Drive, is opening its doors on the second Tuesday of each month, from 2.30-4pm, for its High Tea Tuesdays event, with the next session taking place on 6th October.
The event offers a welcoming environment for residents and the community to relax, enjoy a cuppa and catch-up over a slice of something sweet. Guests can look forward to a selection of tasty treats baked by the home's head chef, and plenty of time to chat and get to know residents and visitors.
The event also gives attendeesan opportunity to meet the Rendlesham team and view the home's facilities.
Yvonne Allison, Home Manager at Rendlesham, said: “There’s nothing better than sitting down with a nice cup of teaand having a good chat, so we thought a regular event would be perfect for both the residents and local community. High Tea Tuesdays are a chance for everyone to slow down and enjoy some good company.
“We’re looking forward to seeing faces old and new at our next session, whether visitors are popping in with a friend or visiting alone. We’re sure it will be a tea-riffic afternoon!”
Rendlesham, operated by Care UK, provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. Rendlesham has been designed to enable its residents to lead active and fulfilling lives, while also promoting independence.The building incorporates plenty of space for hobby and leisure activities and includes its own hair salon and garden.
