             WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND 

There are lots going on this weekend from Christmas arts and crafts, to performing arts performances and lots in between. Take a look below to find something that takes your fancy. 

Weekend long events.

Outside Edge by Richard Harris, is coming to Huntingdon Commemoration Hall, performed by Huntingdon’s Drama club. This 1979 play follows the marital problems of a cricket club who are all desperate to win a match whilst save their marriages. With one performance a night from Thursday 24th November to Saturday 26th.

 Not only are there some great weekend long events for you to enjoy there is also some fantastic 'one day only' events all happening on your doorstep. 

Friday 25th November  

End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.

After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Market, for a range of homemade, home grown local produce.

Join Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre, as they host their 10th Bösendorfer Piano concert series, staring some amazing talented international prize winners, bringing you some great musical entertainment. The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets start from £5 for pupils and students under 21 and £12 for standard ticket.

Saturday 26th November

Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market for fresh, local produce.

Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racecourse.

Take a walk around St John’s Church in Woodhurst and pick up a gift or two for yourself or someone special at the Autumn Fair. Refreshments will be available including mulled wine. All proceeds will go to the Church.

Get into the Christmas spirit at Ramsey as they prepare for Christmas as they turn on this years Christmas Lights. With fair rides, local traders, performances from the local schools and much more. The lights will be switched on at 6.30pm by Look Easts Andrew Sinclair.

 Sunday 27th November

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse.

The Christmas Extravaganza at Wood Green Animal Shelter is back this year. With appearances from Santa Paws and Queen Elsa, games and activities for children and stalls for all, it’s a great way to join in with the festive merriment for all the family. The centre will be open from 3pm to 7pm.

 For more Christmas Craft Fairs  full of unique, special bargains you can visit The Wildlife Trust Centre, Ramsey  orThe Burgess Hall, St Ives. With both fairs hosting a wide range of stalls you are bound to find that perfect gift. The Burgess Hall will also have kids craft area, Santa’s grotto and much more to keep the children entertained in between shopping.
