             WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND 

As the weather takes a turn to the chillier side, keep warm by joining in with one of the many events taking place this weekend, from a charity showing of the Battle of the Somme to an indoor car boot at the Burgess Hall.


Friday 11th November  

End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.

After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Market, for a range of homemade, home grown local produce.

Join Huntingdonshire Cricket Board as they host their Awards Dinner with former Northants and England cricketer David Steele as speaker and to present this year's awards. Tickets are £30 and includes a three-course meal and coffee.

 

Saturday 12th November

Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market, or St Ives Farmers Market, for fresh, local produce.

Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racecourse.

Join Screen St Ives, at the Corn Exchange, as they hold a charity special screening of the Battle of the Somme, as part of the First World War Centenary. Doors open at 2pm and showing starts at 2.30pm.

Enjoy an evening of comedy entertainment at the Huntingdon Commemoration Hall as they host the fantastic comedy tribute act ‘Just like that! The Tommy Cooper Show’. As expected this nationwide tour provides some hilarious one liners, musical accompaniment and magic. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets start from just £10.

 Sunday 13th November

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, or join the Burgess Hall for their indoor car boot, where you can browse and pick up a bargain whatever the weather.

Spoil your four legged friends and take them for a Dogs Day Out at Wood Green Animal Shelter. With activities, available including mini dog agility taster, fun dog show, Dog MOT’s, Family fun sessions and much more. Entry is free, and each activity is priced from £1.
