WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND 

With lots going on this weekend from musical entertainment from Northern Soul at The Burgess Hall to the Chilli Fiesta at Huntingdon Community Hall.


Friday 14th October  

End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.

After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Marketfor a range of homemade, home grown local produce.

Join the Burgess Hall as they host this fantastic performance ‘Romeo a Juliet’. This is a brilliant way to Commemorate 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare. The show starts at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm. Tickets are just £17.50 in advance.

Saturday 15th October.

Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market, or pick up some fresh local produce at St Ives Farmers Market.

Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racesource.

Fancy a bit of spice? Then head over to Huntingdon Commemoration Hall as they host their Third Chilli Fiesta. There will be products including sauces, dips, jams, cooking sauces and more. All ranging from mild to extremely hot, see how much heat you can take.

Join The Burgess Hall as they hold an evening of musical entertainment, Northern Soul (The Big Reunion part 2).  With the choice of two rooms and a range of music, it is set to be a fantastic evening. Tickets are £11 in advance; and you can dance the night away from 8pm – 2am!

Pick up a bargain for you little one at the Baby and Children’s Nearly New sale at Huntingdon’s One Leisure. Doors are open from 2pm until 4pm.

Try your luck and your general knowledge out at St Ives Corn Exchange as they host the Tony Akers Quiz. With quiz master Daniel Rowe and lots of fun and prizes to be won. Teams of up to six and entry is £10 per person and includes supper. Please take your own drinks and glasses. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

 

 Sunday 16th October. 

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, Skylark Garden Centre and Crystal Lakes.  

As the weather turns colder it becomes even more unpredictable so what better way to spend it then having browse around the Burgess Hall’s, Indoor Car boot. Come wind, rain, shine or even snow this is one car boot that will not be called off due to bad weather. So whether you have things to sell or want to pick up a great bargain then this is the event for you.

Get the Children out and about this Sunday and join in with the fun at Fen Drayton Lakes as they host an Awesome Autumn Scavenger Hunt. Make you way around as a family on this self-guided scavenger trail, then head on back to base to make some amazing wild art. Entry is FREE and you can turn up anytime between 11am and 3pm.

Browse around this Autumn Craft and Gift Fair, at Ramsey Community Centre. This is the first time this event is being held in Ramsey so make sure to swing by and show your support to ensure it comes back again. You never know you might also spot the perfect gift for someone you yourself. Admission is FREE and you have between 9.30am and 3.30pm to have a look around.
