WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND 

There is lots going on to get involved with this weekend. From the St Ives ‘Booze on the Ouse’ Beer Fest, to Huntingdon Town Halls Wedding Fayre and everything in between.

Weekend Long Events 

Starting on Thursday 6th October and continuing through to Saturday 8th The St Ives ‘Booze on the Ouse’ Beer Festival is being held at The Burgess Hall. With over 70 cask beers, real cider, pub games and more it is bound to be a fantastic event. There will be free soft drinks for drivers.

Along with the weekend long events there are lots of great 1 day events taking place, so go and support your local community. 

Friday 7th October  

End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.

After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Marketfor a range of homemade, home grown local produce, or head on down to Huntindon for their Farmers Market.

Enjoy a night with friends watching a great film at Somersham’s first Film Night, showing Eddie The Eagle staring Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton. Film starts at 8pm and doors open at 7.30pm. Arrive early to choose your seats and claim your free popcorn.

Saturday 8th October.

Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market.

Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racesource.

Learn how to Weave your very own rush mat and baskets at Wicken Fen, as they host a Rush Weaving Workshop. Book your place early to avoid disappointment, tickets are just £60 and includes all materials.

Tried your hand at weaving and fancy something a bit different, then visit Wildlife Countryside Trust Centre at Ramsey for their Green Woodworking Workshop and have fun carving your very own wooden eating spoon.

If flowers are more your thing, then check out Brampton’s Flower Club Open meeting at Hinchingbrooke Performing arts centre. With a flower arranging demonstration, tea and cake, raffle and sales table. All welcome, tickets for members £7.50, and visitors £12.50.

 

 Sunday 9th October. 

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, Skylark Garden Centre and Crystal Lakes.  

Are you getting married soon or know someone who is? Then take a trip to Huntingdon Town Hall, for their Wedding Fayre. Entry will be free and there will even be a free glass of prosecco to the first 100 guests. With a range of suppliers, including florists, bridal wear, menswear and much more.
