WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND
The weather isn’t slowing down all the fun that is going on in and around Huntingdon and St Ives this weekend. There are lots going on from a Charity Dance and Fun Night on Saturday to a Plough and Country Craft Day on Sunday.
Weekend Long Events
This Friday and Saturday nights The Centre Theatre Players present ‘One Night Only’. Join the Burgess Hall for a fantastic evening full of laughs and great entertainment.
Along with all of the weekend long events there are lots of great 1 day events taking place, so go and support your local community.
Friday 23rd September.
End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.
Visit Huntingdon Town and pick up some local produce at the Farmers Market.
After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Market, for a range of homemade, home grown local produce.
Get up close and personal and see what animals visit Fen Drayton Lakes after dark, for 'Nocturnal Nature'. Go hunting for bats, owls and more. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and take your wellies to this FREE event.
Support St Ives Corn Exchange to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society at this fantastic ‘Charity Dance and Fun Night’. Includes musical entertainment, a fish and chip supper and lots of laughs.
Want to try your hand (or head) out at a quiz night? Then head on down to The Montague Club, Huntingdon's 'Quiz Night' for your chance to win £100 and raise money for the British Heart Foundation. £10 per team of up to 5 members.
Saturday 24th September.
Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market.

Do you want to know more about the art of Tai Chi? Then pop down to Huntingdon Commemoration Hall this Saturday for a FREE ‘Open House for Taoist Tai Chi arts’. Watch demonstrations and try out some moves.
Witness some truly amazing talent that has wowed audiences all over the world, as Huntingdon hosts ‘The World Famous Gubbio Flag Throwers’. They will perform two shows throughout the afternoon, both lasting 30minutes.
Get into the Harvest spirit and take a trip to Huntingdon Methodist Church and St Mary’s Church for a Harvest Fun Day. Join in with the crafts and games, see some real farmyard animals and even use it as a fantastic excuse to dress up as a farmer.
Sunday 25th September.
You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, Skylark Garden Centre and Crystal Lakes.
Visit The Burgess Hall as they host the IPMS Brampton Scale Model Show. Join over 15 traders with everything you could possibly need for your models, and help raise money for 3 great charities; Hospice at Home, Huntingdon MS Centre and MAGPAS Centre.
Join Ramsey Rural Museum as they host their annual ‘Plough and Country Fayre Day’. The children can have fun in the play tent, and the adults can get a drink from the licensed bar. Enjoy various ploughing activities, craft stall, vintage vehicles and much more.
