WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND 

Happy Bank Holiday weekend! This is the last Bank Holiday until that the big one in December and with lots going on there is no excuse not to make the most of it.

The St Ives Antique fair is back Sunday and Monday at The Burgess Hall. Whether you need some shelter from the sun or to get out of the Bank Holiday rain, pop along and wander around to find some fantastic antique treasures.

 

Along with all of the weekend long events there are lots of great 1 day events taking place, so go and support your local community. 


Friday 26th August. 

End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.

After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Marketfor a range of homemade, home grown local produce, or visit Huntingdon Town for their Farmers Market.

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Wood Green Animal Shelter? Well now you can find out. Go along and see what work goes into looking after the animals, as well as meet them and find out what they need to make them happy and healthy.

 

Saturday 27th August.

Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market.

Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racesource, or St Neots Common.

Visit the Corn Exchange in St Ives this Sunday to view all of the fantastic entries for the annual Flower, Produce and Craft Show. With categories ranging from fruits and veg, to craft, baking, home brewing and much more. See what sparks your interest and maybe you could try your luck next year.

Get building with Lego at Huntingdon Library for their Fun Day. Best model wins a prize and there are other board games for you to join in with too.

 

Sunday 28th August.

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, Skylark Garden Centre and Crystal Lakes.

Help to save someone's life by visiting St Ives Corn Exchange and donating blood. There will be two sessions throughout the day the first one is 9.30am – 12.30pm and the second 2pm – 4.30pm. Booking appointments is advisable online or by calling 0300 123 23. 

 

Monday 29th August 

 

Once again St Ives plays host to a vast array of market traders as they visit St Ives for the last Bank Holiday Market of this year. With stalls ranging from fresh fruit and veg, clothes, fabric and much more, you are bound to find a bargain.
