WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND 

What a fantastic summer weekend your local towns have in store for you this weekend, with music events, camping events and not forgetting the return of Huntingdon Carnival. 

Weekend Long Events

Join in with the fun at Wood Green animal shelter for this years Wadfest. Sci-fi inspired camping weekend, with activities including dodge ball, cocktail party and much more. It looks like it is set to be a fantastic weekend for all. 

Huntingdon Carnival is back after a long 14 years off! Saturday sees the parade return for for it’s long awaiting spectators so make sure you go down to wave off everyone taking part. Leaving the market square at 12pm and arriving at the Riverside Park at 1pm. The fun then continues at the park with stalls, games, activities and not forgetting the fun fair. Sunday brings and afternoon of great live music for you to sit, relax and enjoy a lazy Sunday to. 


Along with all of the weekend long events there are lots of great 1 day events taking place, so go and support your local community. 


Friday 12th August. 

End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.

After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Marketfor a range of homemade, home grown local produce, or visit Huntingdon Town for their Farmers Market.

Visit Wicken Fen with your little elves and fairies and join in with all the fairy games and activities going on during Fenland Fairies. Go dressed with your fairy wings on or in disguise the choice is up to you, but you are bound to see the sparkling magic floating through the fen today.

Dig out those dancing shoes and glide around the floor at St Ives Corn Exchange, for their ever popular Friday Night is Dance in Night. Playing non-stop Modern Ballroom, Latin American and much more. 

 

 Saturday 13th August.

Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market.

Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racesource, or St Neots Common.

Fancy a night of fantastic tribute acts? The Huntingdon Commemoration Hall is the place to be tonight as they host Jukebox Presentations fantastic performance of The Cliff and Elvis show. 

Sunday 14th August.

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, Skylark Garden Centre and Crystal Lakes.
